What size opening does the Denver Adapta-Gate fit?

The gate fits openings from 85.5–200 cm (33.5–79 in) and stands 74 cm (29 in) tall. Its three configurable panels can be arranged to suit wider or angled spaces, while the grey mesh provides visibility through the barrier. Measure your opening with the planned layout in mind, as angling the panels reduces the overall span.

Can the gate create a landing area near stairs?

Yes. The panels can be configured to create a landing area at the top or bottom of stairs. Both ends must be hardware-mounted to suitable, structurally sound surfaces. Follow the included stair-placement instructions and use the one-way stopper to prevent the walk-through gate opening towards the stairs.

Can the walk-through gate open in either direction?

Yes. The gate offers two-way opening, with a one-way stopper when you need to restrict the direction. After passing through, close the gate and check that it is securely locked. The EZY-Check indicator provides a visual reference to help you check that it is closed correctly.

Can I leave the gate open when I don’t need a barrier?

Yes. The Smart Stay-Open feature holds the walk-through gate open for repeated access. Allow enough clearance for the door to open fully and engage this feature. Close and secure the gate whenever you need to restrict your child’s access.

Can I expand the Denver gate for a larger opening?

Yes. A compatible Brooklyn/Denver extension panel is available separately, adding approximately 58 cm (22.75 in) to the panel configuration. The usable span depends on how the panels are arranged. Follow the extension instructions when expanding and reinstalling the gate.
