Which gate is compatible with this extension?

The extension is designed for compatible Cosmopolitan Easy-Close Security Gates measuring 76 cm (30 in) tall. It is not a universal extension for other gate ranges. Confirm your gate model before purchasing.

How much width does the extension add?

The extension adds 9 cm (3.5 in) to your compatible gate’s fitting range. Measure your opening and check the gate’s installation guide to determine whether this size provides the correct fit.

Can I add the extension to a gate I already own?

Yes. Attach it to your existing compatible Cosmopolitan gate before reinstalling the gate in the wider opening. This product includes the extension only and cannot be used as a standalone barrier.

Can I combine it with another Cosmopolitan extension?

Choose a combination permitted by your gate’s installation guide. Compatible Cosmopolitan extensions come in 9 cm (3.5 in), 18 cm (7 in) and 27 cm (10.5 in) sizes. Use the correct extension pins and required connecting hardware for your arrangement.

Does the extension widen the walk-through opening?

No. It increases the overall width of the barrier while the walk-through opening remains the same size. Adults continue to pass through the existing gate door.
