Which gates are compatible with this extension?

This extension is designed for compatible standard-height Liberty and Ava gates measuring 76 cm (30 in) tall. It is not intended for extra-tall gates or every Dreambaby gate model. Confirm compatibility with your gate before purchasing.

How much width does the extension add?

The extension adds 10.5 in (27 cm) to your compatible gate’s fitting range. Measure your opening and check the gate’s installation guide to determine whether this size provides the correct fit.

Can I combine the extension with another gate extension?

Yes. Compatible Liberty and Ava gates allow a maximum of two extensions in total, with one on each side. Count any extension supplied with your gate towards this limit. Do not install two extensions on the same side.

Can I add the extension to a gate I already own?

Yes. You can fit the extension to an existing compatible gate when moving it to a wider opening. Remove and reinstall the gate according to its instructions, then check that the fittings are secure and the door closes and locks correctly.

Is this extension a complete baby gate?

The six modular panels can form an enclosed playpen, extra-wide gate or room divider. Arrange the panels to suit your space, including angled layouts. When used as a barrier or room divider, hardware-mount both ends according to the included instructions. The Brooklyn mesh gate must not be used as a fireplace barrier.
